There are few things in life that make me happier than a good bowl of noodles, and the lobster noodles at @wayan_nyc definitely hit the spot! 😋 between the black pepper butter sauce and the chunks of lobster and bits of fresh basil, we couldn’t stop eating this dish once it got to our table.

-nasi gila -spicy fried rice with duck, bacon, and sausage with a poached egg in the center (pro tip: mix a bit of the fried rice in the leftover lobster noodle sauce for an amazing flavor combo!)
-corn fritter -super light and crispy!
-potato rosti -good, but a bit too fried in my opinion
-banana sundae with ube ice cream -the bruleed bananas made the dish feel ✨fancy✨
-Kopi cocktail (tequila, coconut milk, espresso)

The mazemen at @mogumogu_la is great for times when you’re in the mood for noodles but don’t want all the broth that ramen has -plus, you get a poached egg to pop and mix into the sauce at the bottom! At the end of the meal, I got a small bowl of rice to mix with the leftover sauce at the end to change things up. This was definitely a very fun (and tasty!) meal 😋

I thought the savory monaka was a super unique dish! These little rice cracker shells are usually filled with sweet things like red bean paste, so it was interesting trying one with a salmon and foie gras inside 😋
